Should Bloggers Get Paid? Right or Wrong

February 28, 2007 / by johnlance

Right: Bloggers should get paid by advertisers who link to their site and through their efforts (Bloggers efforts) attract people who will buy products or services from what they sell. This is a way for talented writers to earn a living and maybe more. Ed has the right thing going for him now.
Wrong: Its hard for me to say anythings wrong with making money from blogging. I just wonder where are the contracts that have to be signed by the principles so that it is binding and how does a Blogster know how much he is getting and how can he or she check it out. I know Yahoo, Google etc do pay you on your web site for the hits you get. You have to apply for it. I am not familiar with blogging but I imagine its the same. Eddie has connected with AGLOCO and You Tube and maybe that is the way. Eddie what do you say.

Blogster has given an ad for a company who will not charge you anything but if your hits multiply to others you will get a commission etc. You will see it on your blog site as a connection. Trouble is they want to apply Hong Kong Law to the contract and make Hong Kong the place of jurisdiction. Great if you have a dispute you have to hire a Hong Kong Lawyer and then I do not know what law applies. China has taken it back is Chinese Law. God you are up the creek if you want to check out and see if you are being paid what they promised and if not to litigate with them but not here and not under U.S. Laws. Who needs this headache?
