It's on everyone's mind. Will we have an African American President? Truth is I don't know. I did think that he would have caused a division in the country because of the race thing. His winning in Iowa sort of eased that situation. He still has a lot to go. Many Southern and Western States may still split over the fact that he is running for President. I am not saying this with any prejudice against him. The Republicans keep praising him and I wonder why. Is it that they would really want him as an opponent and then think that in the national election he would lose? Wow will they be surprised. I think he has to take his rhetoric about the black past in this country and stop talking about it if he wants to really have a chance. There are lots of people out there who get the feeling that he wants to be a "get even" person for all the wrongs done. Don't do it and in your heart of heart remember that if you do become the first black president you are the president and leader of all the people in this country bar none.
John Edwards is in my opinion the right person for the Democratic party. He doesn't stand a chance for lack of money. He sounds like and is Presidential in my book. Painting him as an ambulance chaser are those who have no brains and lack the good sense to see that he is the guy this country needs. He is a stand up guy, a litigator who has to fight every inch of the way against the powers that run this country. When he says "corporate greed he knows, yes he knows better than any of the other candidates." Its a toss up to me at this point:
Obama or Edwards. What do you say?
We'll know soon enough, right?
