"The View" Right/wrong

Barbara Walters show the View has offered up Rosie O'Donnell and company as the gurus of Politics and World Events. The problem is they have a naive one sided view that offers only criticism and no helpful suggestions to solve real problems.
Right: The views point is that Bush is an ogre and anyone opposing their views is a Fascist. We should not have thrown Saddam out of power after all look how good he was to his country. They did not have 650,000.00 of their people dying. Our boys are horrors killing some many people. Saddam was a good person. Terrorists exist only in the mind of Bush. We have nothing to fear from them because they are good people who are only fighting for their country. We should support them.

Wrong: Rosie is all wet. A) Saddam was a killer. He killed thousands of Kurds and other peoples in his drive for power and control. The first Gulf War resulted in the deaths of many Arab peoples caught up in it. Saddam fought a war with Iran in which millions of people died all Arabs by the way. This fighting between Sunni's Shites and Kurds all has to do with the OIL BUSINESS. Each is killing the other for a bigger piece of the pie and each wanting the sole power in that Country. If the U.S. had not gone in sooner or later if Saddam died suddenly what his happening now would have happened. When Saddam took power there was a lot of killing between the Sunni's the Shites and the Kurds. He took control and made them all heel to his command imposing a hard dictatorship on those people.
Rosie is very, very naive. The world is run on OIL whether we like it or not. Oil is used not only to drive our cars but in 90 percent of our products. Many of which have some derivative of OIL. The U.S. is a world power because of OIL.
England, U.S.A. and the little country known as Holland do have lots of control of a major portion of the world's OIL.Rosie you may like the terrorists but how could you like a culture from which arises a group that takes their young people to be suicide bombers and you say they do it for good reason.
What is the reason pray tell me other than they have the most corrupt leaders who preach hate and killing. Do you know that if those people would have stopped the nonsense that part of the world could have developed into the most powerful region? If instead of wanting to kill all the Israelis and not wanting to solve the issue of having a separate State they listened to the voices of reason they would have gotten far more than having Arafat's Widow leaving in Paris on all the serious monies taken in by him. If only they could have put away their greed and looked at the problem with realism there were people on both sides who could have brought about a compromise and even if you felt cheated half a loaf is better than none especially when with that half a loaf you could have built up a country that would have shone in the world.
Rosie you have simple answers to complex questions and being unrealistic you close your eyes to the world as it really is. Karl Marx was from another planet thinking that individuals do not want freedom to grow and develop and yes even become like you RICH. You talk RED but act BLUE.
